Just Riding

An epic day riding today.  The snow was great and the weather was giving my sunburn a well needed break, thank god!  Did a bit of riding with Owen Kirk toady an old skool acquaintance from the days of Safeway.  Only a few will get this reference i expect.  back in the 90s and early 00s a bit crew of us used to venture up to the top a Safeway car park and skate all day long.  Those were the days.  not a care in the world.  at time there would be a crew 50 strong of us skating and chilling.  sometimes going off for little missions to find stuff to make ramps.  popping down stairs for a 20p table water, or if you couldn't afford that a 16p lemonade.  Skating, smoking a bit of weed and the odd bit of mindless vandalism.  such was the behavior of rebellious emerging teenagers.  So any way went a bit off point there.  yeah shredded a bit with Owen and his mate.  they both work at the restaurant up the hill trappers.  Then after that i met up with Leah and her mate and shredded with them.  Leah works up the hill on the gondola.  She is a safe bird and was hanging around with the Snowskool crew from the beginning.  A good afternoon session indeed.  I hit the battle ship rail finally.  i have been petrified of it for a long time after an unpleasant run in.  but it was going good today.  I also hit the XL down rail in the park and got 50 50s pretty regularly.  Not to mention the down flat down rail.  hitting that nicely now.  All in all a good rail day!  Oh and manged to pop a front side 360 off a cut in.  Pumped!
